Comer Veterinary Hospital welcomed a new next-door neighbor on July 1. Comer Pet Lodge & Spa, a sister company to both the small animal clinic and Custom Livestock Solutions, just opened its doors to cat and dog boarders, daycare guests, and grooming clients.

No matter if it’s a stray pet, accidental mating, or planned litter, there’s a lot to expect when folks find out their pet’s expecting.

Crowds, loud noises, new smells, strange people, and tight quarters can cause stress for anyone. For cats, that overstimulation affects their ability to be properly diagnosed, which is why earlier this fall, the Comer Veterinary Hospital team decided to offer cat-only appointments.
